Youth Climate Summit 2023

A Moment for A Movement

Scotland’s largest Youth Climate Summit that returned on the 21st October 2023, offered people aged 18-35 the opportunity to spend a day hearing from inspiring speakers and participating in workshops covering a range of climate and sustainability topics.

At 2050 Climate Group, we're on a mission to empower young people to take action against the climate crisis. Our 2023 Youth Climate Summit aimed to facilitate a Moment for a Movement.

Young people have driven the climate movement - we’ve come a long way, and we still have a long way to go. The 2023 Summit took a moment to recognise where we were and look forward to where we need to go next. It aimed to inspire action through stories and knowledge sharing, galvanise young people through capacity building, and build a community for young people to come together, connect and network.

With over 450 registered attendees, the event saw participants leave feeling inspired, connected, and energised to continue to take collective action and drive the climate movement.
